How to support us
CST has long and successful relationships with local businesses and governments at Local, State and Commonwealth level.
As an example, one of CST's most successful community programmes is its door-to-door bus service that provides transportation for elderly and/or frail-aged or socially isolated people.
The Community Bus began with sponsorship from the then Atherton Shire Council and continues to be supported by the Tablelands Regional Council with sponsorship toward the running costs of the bus.
Passenger safety is paramount and so CST endeavours to update its bus every few years which also helps to minimise maintenance costs.
A once-off grant from the Foundation for Rural and Remote Renewal (FRRR) greatly assisted the purchase of a new bus in 2011.
With additional sponsorship, CST is now able to offer monthly social runs.
Other corporate supporters from the Atherton Tablelands include Joe Vella Insurance Brokers, Central Tyre Service, John Cole Toyota, Tolga Traders, Trailers 2000, Atherton Supa IGA, Lions Club of Atherton and the Tableland local chapter of Soroptimist International.
